This was initially a tattoo design for a friend, but I've added some color, texture and a couple nondescript characters to populate the piece. Definitely an exercise in patience with all the steps I had to draw. A tip of the hat to Escher as well.

WOW man.. thats so epic, tattoo eh ? ..It will be yet another feat for the tattoo artist no doubt. The characters are a nice touch!, the one at the top is like the one at the bottom...wait a minute ...they are one and the same ! he waves to salute himself as he completes the labyrinth, only to begin again..and again
and again, Escher is definitely nodding his head and smiling right now.
